Blakemore Arabians began 12 years ago with a vision of producing some of the best Arabian and Half-Arabian show and breeding horses in the world. Tom Blakemore was immediately attracted to the Arabian horse's beauty, grace, attitude and athletic ability. He purchased his first mares and began his love and long-term commitment to breeding excellence.

"A long-term commitment is exactly what it takes to achieve a successful breeding program. You have to begin by dedicating yourself to your horses. It is with this dedication you can continually improve year after year the quality of your foals. By taking some of the most conformationally correct mares and breeding them to world class stallions, the resulting foals can only prove to be something spectacular," says Tom.

His foundation mares' pedigrees include bloodlines of the breed's greats such as , Lumiar Amadeus, Brass, Bey Shah, Bask, Cognac, Padron, Sharem El Sheikh, Kharben, CPW Chances Are, and Padrons Psyche. In turn he takes these prepotent mares and breeds not only for beauty and conformation, but also for performance and athletic ability. Tom feels creating a beautiful, conformationally sound horse that can also perform is the ultimate success. He achieves this by crossing his mares with such world-renowned stallions as JJ Senor Magnum, Bucherest V, Padrons Psyche, LOA Millennium, Justafire DGL, Odyssey SC, Brass, DS Major Afire, Magnum Psyche, Falcon BHF, Afire Bey V and Kharben.
